In partnership with EWB – Quebec, EWB-RWANDA and Gisagara District, two water projects with pumping system serving 5,000 people was implemented 2017 with budget of 66,000,000rwf.The project will be running by mainly “Solar water pump system” with a height of 160m.
In partnership with local communities, EWB-Rwanda provided technical support on the implementation of Mukindo Water supply project by solar panels system. This project was financed by EWB-Quebec and Gisagara District , the local communities were highly motivated to provide its support through public works known as Umuganda . During the implementation the local technicians were trained for maintenance on the water pipe laying and electromechanical equipment’s and this project was becoming a solution for 5000 peoples of Mukindo Sector and Gisagara District in Southern Province of Rwanda.
