EWB-Rwanda partnerships have been multiplying for several years now. The alliances help to strengthen the legitimacy and social acceptability of our partners but they also above all make essential goods and services accessible to our wider population. In this way, these partnerships boost the efficacy of EWB-Rwanda action while reinventing the way in which our service envisage their activity in the community.

Since its creation, EWB-Rwanda has been working with communities. It enables women and men to improve their living conditions and it provides support for their own economic and environmental benefits and for the fresh undergraduates alike we improved their working skills.

From the beginning in 2005 up to now UR/CST (Former KIST) has been supporting very strongly the organization. As underlined above the organization started by students from former KIST and NUR. As KIST is in KIGALI which is the main city of RWANDA, the organization was using KIST as his headquarter. The majority of activities conducted and meetings organized were held in KIST or under support of the KIST Management. KIST management played a great role in organization of consultative meeting on “Role of Engineers without Boarders – Rwanda, to the Development of the Country”. This first meeting held in KIST in March 2007 EWB-Rwanda has been collaborating with different institutions especially governmental institutions to elaborate its status and in a framework to obtain certificate and licensing to operate legally as an NGO local branch of EWB-International. Different stakeholders have been contributing to the current success of EWB- Rwanda especially while tailoring different projects and approaches in order to achieving our strategic goals.
